Christine and I received an awesome invitation to be featured in a television and print advertising campaign to promote the newscasts on WXOW, our regional ABC affiliate. We are loyal watchers of The Hometown Team so it was easy for us to say yes…plus…I never pass up a chance to get on TV! 

Before we got started shooting the television commercial, WXOW asked Vendi Advertising in La Crosse to coordinate a photo shoot for several shots that could be used in the print layouts. Not sure when the magazine ads will come out but hopefully sometime this summer.

Our first couple of test shots. It was darn hot under the lights and to make matters worse, it was about 98 degrees outside. Excellent!

 

 

 

 

 

Vendi Advertising hired an awesome photographer. Megan caught all of the subtle fixes that needed to be adjusted even small wrinkles in my suit coat. Nice work Megan.

 

 

 

 

 

I always try to lighten the mood with some humor…based on the look on Christine’s face…I don’t think she liked my last joke! Hmmm. I should have ended the joke with something like…”Hey, I will be here all week. Try the veal and be sure to tip your server!” Maybe that would have worked better.
